The Hall County County Cloud has Microsoft 2007 software like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Publisher.
This means that you (and your students) do NOT need these programs on your home computer to do work.
Think of the Cloud as an enormous warehouse (floating over California) where you can store all of your computer files.
Hall County bought space in this warehouse and all of your "z: drive" files are in that warehouse. You can now get at those files through any computer connected to the Internet.
This means you don't have to keep a version of your files stored on a flash drive to take back and forth from home to school.
