What is SOAR?
We understand that our students will find many paths to success. Our common cause is to
help them discover the hidden talents that will lead them to these paths."
Excerpt from the Chestatee Academy Vision Statement
Every Chestatee student has the opportunity to join a SOAR Academy and explore what might become his or her passion.
These academies meet on Tuesday's and Friday's for one hour when SOAR is in session.
There are two SOAR seasons a year. The Fall 2011 season begins on September 6th and will run until November 18th.
Each season culminates in a celebration, where the students will have a chance to display their products. This fall's Night at the Museum will be in early December.

What is PUSH?
"To understand Chestatee Academy, begin with our students. They are an economically and ethnically diverse group with a wide range of talents and abilities."
Excerpt from the Chestatee Academy Vision Statement
We work hard to make sure that everything we do is aimed to meet the needs of each individual student.
During the SOAR seasons, we have 28 minute PUSH sessions on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. This is a chance for students that need extra help in math or reading to get special instruction.
Other students will use this time to read in an area associated with their SOAR Academy.
