A big congratulations to the A-Team. They competed in the Regional Academic Quiz Competition. They didn't win, but played very well. They upset Taylor Road Middle School by 10 points and only lost to the winning team, Piney Grove Middle School by five points.

Get well soon, Katie!
You may have noticed that our 8th grade girls have a green 22 sewn into their jerseys.
Green is NOT their favorite color, but they wanted to honor their friend and rival on the court, North Hall's Katie Glass as she battles to regain her health.
All of our basketball teams are raising money for the Secret Santa Program by selling baked goods during lunch. So buy a cookie and help a friend!
"Flown in the face of the enemy..."
Last Christmas, our lunchroom staff pitched in and sent boxes of food to some of our troops at Camp Mike Spann in northern Afghanistan.
The men and women who recieved the food expressed their thanks by sending Chestatee a United States flag that had actually flown over the camp "in the face of the enemy."
Major James L. McNair presents the flag and certificate to the Chestatee Academy Cafeteria Staff.
Right to left front row: Jane Collins, Hilda Bennett, Philip Nelson, Lisa Bookmiller, Helen Welch, & Major McNair
Right to left back row: Laura Majors, Dee Turner, Sharon Cross, Deborah Deal, Mary Lou England & Wanda Reese

Congratulations.
You have reached the end of the Internet. That one extra click and a flick of the mouse and here it is.
The End.
Now go outside and take a deep breath of fresh air, content in the knowledge that you have conquered the Internet. From this point forward you need not capitalize the word, Internet. It is simply internet for you. And if people complain, tell them I gave you permission.

JK!
The PTSO wants to fix up the median area outside the lunchroom with permanent seating and tables. It will be great place for an outdoor classes and maybe eating outside will happen more often!
Was it worth it?
Seriously? Uh...... yeah. The sun was awesome.. We got to hang out with our friends. There were some bees buzzing,, but there were NO BEARS!
