CRCT stands for
Curriculum Referenced Competency Test.
(Blah, Blah, Blah)
In plain English, it's a test over the material students are meant to learn during the year.
Every subject in every grade has a "curriculum" set forth by the State of Georgia. It tells teachers what the students should learn in the course. The CRCT tests for that knowledge.

But it is important that each student tries hard and does his/her best. CRCT results are used to determine next year's class assignments (and sometimes,
promotion to the next grade level).

Remember the snow week and all the fun we had while missing school?
Now's when we pay the piper!
Plan on the school day being extended for exactly one hour!
Students are encouraged to bring a snack for late in the day.
We have made three changes to take advantage of the extra time:
Students have been assigned to classes based on their individual needs.
We will be back to our normal dismissal times once the CRCT's start!
